Intelligent Color Control in Printing
IF is currently the only color control system in industrial printing capable of deriving a complete technical and visual impression of color and color balance from the limited data available on a print control strip—and correcting it through targeted ink density variation. IF acts as a autonomous color control system.

Instrument Flight Closed Loop is available through your printing press manufacturer’s sales channels.
Standalone Option
Instrument Flight is also available as a standalone (IFSTA) variant. IF Standalone is an offline version of IF with identical or even greater functionality than the integrated variants, instructing the press operator which adjustments are necessary without triggering them automatically. While this may initially sound cumbersome, it is not a disadvantage in practice. Users here too enjoy the simple operation characteristic of System Brunner products and confirm effective added value and noticeable quality improvements throughout production. The comparatively low acquisition cost and press-independent flexibility make IF Standalone a powerful tool in offset, flexo, and even digital printing.

Printing Press Manufacturers only provide Basic Commissioning Checks
Printing press manufacturers are trained by RI for basic commissioning. They can put IF systems into operation, check their function, and hand them over to the end customer in a tested state.
