Ghent Working Group

The Ghent Working Group specializes in PDF-related aspects for the printing industry. While the PDF specification allows for file creation for various needs, PDF files that render fine on screen might not be technically constructed to match the requirements of the prepress and printing process. To simplify PDF output for printing, the GWG discusses technical details of the PDF format and releases recommendations on how to export PDF files from software to ensure compatibility with common printing processes.

Reprointelligence is a supporting member of the Ghent Workgroup, as we believe this entity provides an ongoing, important contribution to the real needs of the industry.
